There is an assembly language and a BASIC language interface to the USB driver. The assembly language interface is in a beta state, the BASIC language one is in an alpha state.-You need an adapter cable to connect USB devices to the mini-usb port on the calculator. Window shall automatically recognize the USB RNDIS device and install the proper driver. And the host IP address on the USB network interface shall allow to be changed. Usb Device Drivers Windows 10
I picked up a cheap USB Video Capture device off Amazon with the intent of transferring my aging VHS tapes to digital format. The one I got says REDGO on it, but it looks like there may be several sellers selling the same device with a different brand name. The thing they have in common is they're listed as an 'AV TO USB2.0' device and come with the same Honestech software.
When I plug it into a laptop running Win 10 Pro, Device Manager shows AV TO USB2.0 listed under Cameras and Sound, video and game controllers. When I run the Honestech software, The device is shown in Video Device, and the Audio Device.. however, the software does not show any video. When I run OSB, there are no devices listed in the Video Capture Device configuration.
When I plug it into an old laptop running Windows XP, I'm able to see and capture video from the VCR using the Honestech software (Didn't try OSB on that machine).. so I know the hardware is working.
I tried running Windows XP in a VirtualBox on my Win 10 machine. Everything loaded up just like XP machine, however it didn't show any video when I ran the Honestech software.
My preference is to capture audio and video on my Win 10 machine using OSB. Anyone have Ideas as to why the device would not be listed as a Video Capture Device in OSB despite its presence in Device Manager?
